Biography
I serve as Chair and Deputy Treasurer of Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket Constituency Labour Party, helping to lead our local organisation and support its campaigning, meetings and wider activity across the constituency.
As Chair, my role is to help ensure the CLP is welcoming, well organised and focused on the issues that matter to our members and local communities. I chair meetings, support our officers and branches, and work with members to strengthen Labour’s presence across Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and the surrounding villages.
As Deputy Treasurer, I also support the financial administration of the CLP and help make sure our resources are used responsibly to support campaigning and member activity.
I’m particularly keen to encourage more members to get involved, whether that’s through campaigning, attending meetings, helping behind the scenes or taking on a role within the local party. I want our CLP to be active, inclusive and rooted in the communities we represent.
