Biography
I’ve been Secretary for the CLP since autumn 2023. It’s been a busy and exciting time, including the 2024 General Election, and I’m definitely still learning. As Secretary, I’m the person sending out agendas and minutes for our meetings and generally keeping an eye on the paperwork.
I have lived in Bury since 2014, and before that just over the border in Norfolk. I worked with children and families for most of my career, first in schools and then in Children’s Social Care and Early Help for Suffolk County Council. I now volunteer for a national advice service, which is both eye-opening and rewarding – although I’m still trying to master the benefits system!
