Who we are

Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket Constituency Labour Party is the local Labour Party organisation for our constituency.

We bring members together to campaign for Labour values, support our elected representatives, discuss policy and make sure local voices are heard.

Our membership includes people from all walks of life, united by a belief in fairness, opportunity, strong public services and communities that work for everyone.

Campaign in our communities

We speak to residents, listen to local concerns, deliver information and campaign on the issues that matter across the constituency.

Support Labour representatives and candidates

We support Labour representatives and candidates at every level, helping them stay connected to residents and build strong local campaigns.

Give members a voice

Members can take part in meetings, discuss policy, submit motions, contribute ideas and help shape the direction of our local party.

Bring people together

From campaign sessions and meetings to social events and community activity, we want our local Labour Party to be welcoming, active and rooted in the places we represent.

Our Member of Parliament

Dr Peter Prinsley was elected as the Member of Parliament for Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket in 2024.
